This blue-chip Champions League round of 16 collision between Real Madrid and Man City has all of the glamour and intrigue that you'd expect from a top-level European clash.
Here's all you need to know before mentally preparing for and betting on one of the biggest games of this or any season.
⚪️ Zidane banking on Bale?
Zinedine Zidane must decide whether Ferland Mendy or Marcelo will occupy the left-back slot, although Mendy looks favourite after getting a rest at the weekend against Levante, a match that Madrid lost. With Eden Hazard out for the season, it's an opportunity for Gareth Bale to shine if selected, in an attacking trio that isn't short of experience and big match temperament.
The impressive 21-year-old Fede Valverde looks set to start ahead of Croatia legend Luka Modric. Valverde's energy and box-to-box ability will be placed alongside the creative and destructive world-class talents of Toni Kroos and Casemiro.
🌃 Time for De Bruyne & Aguero to step up to the plate
With Aymeric Laporte back in the side, Man City has kept two clean sheets in their last two Premier League outings. The ex-Athletic Bilbao man will be eager to impress back in Spain. He'll be partnered by Fernaninho, who served a one-match suspension in City's final group game. Although it's not the Brazilian's natural position, he has excelled there in a converted role.
The major selection dilemma for Guardiola comes at the sharp end of the pitch where he must decide between Riyad Mahrez and Bernardo Silva in a wide attacking berth. City's imminent UEFA ban means that it's now or never for a handful of their players, not least of which 31-year-old goal machine Kun Agüero and creative lynchpin Kevin De Bruyne.
