Raja Casablanca has announced that TP Mazembe fans will have free entry to the Mohamed V Stadium in Casablanca for their CAF Champions League quarterfinals first-leg tie.
The Moroccan club said that the TP Mazembe travelling fans will access the stadium free of charge after they produce a valid Congolese passport. The news will be welcomed by the large Congolesecomunity in the North African nation. Morocco has one of the largest Congolese student population in Africa.
The two teams will lock horns on Friday at 7 pm GMT in the first leg before meeting again in Kinshasa a week later.
Free entry to travelling fans has become like a tradition among Moroccan clubs lately. A number of clubs have admitted away fans free of charge in continental matches. The Moroccan FA has also waived charges for Libyan fans in a national team tie last year.
