Ghanaian defender Samuel Inkoom has revealed that he is eager to inspire his new club FC Samtredia to fight for honours as the side prepares for their first game in the Georgian Erovnuli Liga.
In an interview with TopBallers, Inkoom said: “I am happy with the infrastructures here and I am eager to help my team win on the pitch.
"As professionals, we all want to have the best [season] and that goes for the fans, who want to see good football and success. ”
The former Asante Kotoko player who has been impressive for the Samtredia based club during their preseason matches added: “I feel good and in better conditions for our first league game.
"I have played all the full minutes of our 4 pre-season games and the feeling is good.
"I just can’t wait for the start of the league games.”
The 30-year-old has previously plied his trade for teams based in 8 different countries, namely Switzerland, Ukraine, France, Greece, United States of America, Portugal, Turkey and latest in Bulgaria.
