Manchester United are sweating on the fitness of Anthony Martial ahead of their trip to Goodison Park to face Everton on Sunday.
The Frenchman pulled out of training ahead of their Europa League clash against Club Brugge on Thursday night, with Ole Gunnar revealing he did not know how long he may be out.
“He went off [during] training yesterday and had treatment,” said Solskjaer, at his post-match press conference.
“He reported this morning and had a fitness test. It’s not his hamstring, it’s his thigh, in and around the knee," he added.
Odion Ighalo replaced the Frenchman in the starting lineup against the Belgians, and opened his Man United account with a well-taken goal.
In the event Martial does not make the team at Goodison Park, Solskjaer says he has faith in the Nigerian, who arrived at the club in January.
“Odion has definitely shown what type of a striker he is. He will be ready for Sunday,” Solskjaer added.
Aside from Martial, the only other two absentees from the team are Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba, who have stepped up their recovery in recent days.
The rest of the team is available for selection, with Scott McTominay, another longterm absentee making his first start on Thursday since Boxing Day's win over Newcastle.
