Marcos Alonso has had quite an eventful eight-day period at Chelsea.
First, he starred for the Blues as they picked a precious 2-1 win over rivals Tottenham last weekend, scoring the winner after Giroud had given them the lead.
He was then sent off against Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday night at Stamford Bridge following an off-the-ball incident with Robert Lewandowski.
On Saturday, he scored a brace as the Blues were held to a 2-2 draw away to Bournemouth in the Premier League.
The brace on Saturday means the Spaniard has scored 19 goals in the Premier League for Chelsea, the most of any defender in the competition since the start of the 2016/17 season.

Lampard was full of praise for the Spaniard, who came to the Blues' rescue for the second Premier League game in a row.
"I’ve been really pleased with Marcos. He’s always had that since he’s been at Chelsea, he’s got a great record of scoring goals. It’s great technique for the first one, great anticipation for the second and he almost gets a third as well in the box at the end," he said after the match.
Chelsea will next face Everton in the Premier League but have an FA Cup match against Liverpool.
