The Kenya Women national team Harambee Starlets left the country in the morning on Tuesday 3 March for Istanbul Turkey.
The team under the tutelage of coach David Ouma will be in Turkey to participate in the Turkish Women Cup that is slated from March 2-11; the team using the tournament as part of their preparations for the qualification of the Africa Women Cup of Nations Qualifiers.
Starlets have been in residential training since last week and took part in a mini-tournament in Ongata Senior School over the weekend as part of preparations for the upcoming trip.
Apart from Kenya, the other countries expected to grace the tournament are Hungary, Venezuela, Hong Kong, Romania, Uzbekistan, Northern Ireland, Turkmenistan, and Chile.
