Ghanaian defender John Boye has been named in Maxifoot's Ligue 1 Team of the Week following his exploits for FC Metz over the weekend, Ghanasoccernet reported.
Boye scored the winning goal for Metz against Nimes in matchday 28 of the French league all while putting on an impressive performance in the centre of defence.
The 28-year-old joins the team that also includes Pedrag Radkovic of Reims, FC Metz teammates Fabien Centoze and Romain Thomas of Angers at the back.
The other players are Moussa Casserole, Eduardo Camavinga both of Stade Rennes, Frederic Samaritano of Dijon, Angers' Antonio Bobiochon and Kasper Dolberg of Nice.
Andrien Hunou of Rennes and ultimately Fabien Tait who was named as Player of the Week complete the Team of the Week respectively.
