Leganes defender Kenneth Omeruo is hoping his former club Chelsea regret selling him.
Omeruo signed for Chelsea in 2012 from Liege and was loaned out often having failed to make a single appearance for the Blues. The Nigerian was loaned out to Eredivisie side ADO Den Haag and went on to play for Middlesbrough, Kasımpaşa, Alanyaspor, and Leganés all on loan before completing a €5m permanent move to Spain in 2019.
In his interview with Hora Blanquiazul, he said, "I hope they regret selling. I want them to really regret it, I didn’t have the chance to play, but it was a good experience to play in another league."
Omeruo has made 19 appearances for Leganes, netting a single goal.
