Fred Kajoba has threatened his former employer Bright Stars to FIFA over delayed payments.
The current Vipers SC coach is embroiled in a bitter tussle with Bright Stars over delayed payments that has dragged on for close to three years.
According to Ugandan football website Football256.com, Kajoba through the FUFA dispute resolution chamber filed a case accusing Bright Stars of failing to settle him while he served as club head coach to the tune of UGX 48,790,000 ($13,000), a claim Bright Stars denies through a letter that was written to FUFA dated February 19, 2020.
Bright Stars on their part claim that Kajoba is only just UGX 990,000 ($200) having cleared the rest of the arrears.
“I am very disappointed in Bright Stars’ response especially chairman Ronnie Mutebi because he knows exactly what happened,” a tough-talking Kajoba told football256.com.
“But I have good news for them, I am going to go out of my way to reclaim what is mine,” he added.
“I am only waiting for FUFA’s position and if it’s not in my favour I will continue to FIFA and even if it means selling my property to file the case I will.”
“All I want is FIFA’s interpretation on the case and I’ll come to terms with whatever the outcome will be,” Kajoba added.
