The second round of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup African qualifiers promises fireworks after the draw was done on Monday.
Heavyweights Nigeria will take on traditional rivals and neighbours Ghana in what promises to be the most anticipated tie of the round.
The two teams have dominated the age-grade competitions on the continents in both male and female categories and one will have to prove their supremacy in the U-17 tournament. Ghana has never missed any edition of the U-17 World Cup while Nigeria has only missed the 2018 edition.
The other pairing will see East Africa's sole survivor Uganda battle Cameroon as the Indomitable Lionesses chase their third World Cup.
The final match up will have South Africa take on the winner between Morocco and Botswana. The return leg between Morocco and Botswana was not played as the North African nation suspended sporting activities due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The three winners will represent Africa in the FIFA U17 Women's World Cup scheduled to take place in India in September.
