Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso paid a visit to Legon Cities on Thursday where he involved himself in training sessions with the team, Ghanasoccernet reported.
Wakaso has reportedly been in Ghana for some time following his move to the Chinese Super League from Deportivo Alaves.
While the Super League is suspended until further notice, Wakaso chose to return to Ghana and involve himself in training in order to keep fit and prepared ahead of time.
In a bid to stay fit before a date is announced for the commencement of the Super League, the ex-Villareal player joined Legon Cities for training.
Wakaso spent time to also talk to the players and inspire them to never give up on their dreams of making it to the international stage.
Legon Cities are one of the few clubs to hold training despite the halting of the Ghana Premier League.
