Young Africans extend Bernard Morrison's contract with additional two years

Young Africans (Yanga SC) have reportedly handed Ghanaian striker Bernard Morrison a new contract that will spend an additional two years, Ghanasoccernet confirmed.

The club confirmed the news in a press release of tying Morrison down to another deal following his exit from Absa Premiership side Orlando Pirates.

“We are delighted that Morrison has returned his contract papers after agreeing to extend his stay with us for another two years,” the club said in the Instagram post.

“We thank [Morrison] for choosing to stay at Yanga and also thank the club board for pushing to tie down the player at the club.”

Morrison also added his sentiments to declare his loyalty to Young Africans; pouring water on the rumours that were linking him to Simba SC.

“I have heard such rumours but now, I’m loyal to my club since I signed a contract with them that should be respected between us. I have no plans to join Simba or any other club here,” Morrison said.
