European giants Liverpool is interested in the services of Napoli SC midfielder Fabian Ruiz according to reports from Italy.
The 23-year-old who moved to Naples from Real Betis two years ago is attracting interest from big teams in Europe and Liverpool hopes they can convince the player to join them at Anfield.
The Express reports that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is keen on bolstering his midfield with Naby Keita having not lived to expectations due to a series of injuries and Luiz is seen as a player who would help steady their ship.
Ruiz is highly rated in Spain having been named the Player of the Tournament in the U21 European Champions in Italy last year; the Spanish squad having had the likes of Dani Ceballos currently at Arsenal on a loan deal from Real Madrid.
Apart from Liverpool, the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Manchester United are said to be keen on the player who is willing to listen to offers following the unrest between the Napoli owner and the club’s fans and the playing unit.
