Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has denied reports that he is demanding a huge contract before extending his stay.
Recent reports have indicated contract negotiations between the player and the club had stalled due to his astronomical demands.
Abraham had reportedly demanded to become the club's highest earner, matching Callum Hudson-Odoi who's at £120,000 a week, which rises to £180,000 including other bonuses.
The striker, however, moved to quash the rumors in an Instagram response to an article claiming the stories were fake, replying with a simple “Finally, some real news.”
The Englishman is the club's top scorer in the current campaign with 15 goals and opened his international account with the Three Lions in a EURO qualifier match in November.
Coach Frank Lampard is said to be keen on adding a striker during the summer to shoulder striking responsibilities.
The club has been linked with the likes of Moussa Dembele, Timo Werner, and Dries Martens.
