Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore is reportedly being monitored by Spain national team head coach Luis Enrique, Express & Star reported.
Traore has been capped for Spain at youth levels but he is yet to be called up to represent the La Roja on a senior level.
The 24-year-old had been handed his first call-up but he had to pull out after he had sustained an injury that saw him on the sidelines for a few months.
“We have known him very well for many years," Enrique said.
"When we were at Barcelona, he was in our plans and he has evolved a lot over the years.
“He’s a very interesting player. We are delighted with his performances.”
Wolves' key man is also eligible to play for Mali through his parents who move to Catalonia, hence Traore has Spanish citizenship.
