Former West Bromwich Albion defender, Ifeanyi Udeze, has offered reasons why he would quickly sign for Shanghai Shenhua if he was Odion Ighalo.
As reported here on Futaa last week, while Ighalo impressed at his 6-month loan at Manchester United to leave the club with a big decision to make, his Chinese parent club suddenly tabled a huge new contract offer.
“At 31, what’s left? Who do need to impress? No one – I will jump at the Shanghai’s offer immediately, Udeze said to Brila.
“£400,000 is a lot of money and Manchester United cannot afford to match that amount, so, for me, I will accept Shanghai’s deal,” concluded Udeze.
It remains to be seen whether United will counter the offer or simply allow the Nigerian striker to move back to China.
