Congolese international Jody Lukoki is ending his five-year stay at Bulgarian side Ludogorets after the two parties agreed to part ways.
Lukoki had been frozen out of the club for a number of weeks after he refused to renew his contract with the club. His current contract was to run out at the end of the season.
The Congolese-born star has been linked with a summer move to Turkish side Trabzonspor. The SuperLig side had already tried to lure him from Bulgaria in January but they failed to reach an agreement. He has also been linked with a move back to the Netherlands where he played for a number of clubs.
The former Dutch youth player was born in Congo but immigrated to the Netherlands. He joined the local club VVA/Spartaan at the age of ten. He later moved to Ajax in 2011 before being loaned out to SC Sambur three seasons later.
He then signed for another Dutch side PEC Zwolle in 2014 before being snapped up by Ludogorets after a year.
