Ghana international Jeffrey Schlupp reckons his side still has the opportunity to qualify for Europe if the English Premier League is not called off completely, Ghanasoccernet reported.
The league has been suspended until April 30 following the global outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
Crystal Palace are four points away of Sheffield United who are seventh on the Premier League standings and there is a chance of qualification.
"Obviously with us (Crystal Palace), I don't want to get ahead of us, there is still that opportunity for us. You know something special might be able to happen to us," he told Alex Howell on his 'Staying in With' show.
"I think given those reasons, there should be every reason why we should be able to continue the season," he added.
Schlupp made 14 league appearances this season while scoring two goals - he had been recovering to an injury that kept him on the sidelines since December 2019.
