Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo has revealed he wants to make his stay at Old Trafford permanent.
Ighalo is currently on loan at United after signing a six-month contract with the English Premier League side from Shanghai Shenhua during the January transfer window. The 30-year-old has been offered £400,000-a-week to remain at Shanghai Shenhua beyond his current deal, which expires in December 2022, but it appears that he is ready to spurn their advances to stay at United.
In a Twitter exchange with a fan on Friday night, Ighalo was asked if he would like to remain at United if he was offered a contract extension and, the striker said: "Of course."
The Nigerian has been outstanding since his January move and has netted four goals while providing one assist in the process.
