Ghana Premier League side Great Olympics has sacked Emmanuel Clottey, Godfred Saka and co.
The newly promoted club has made the decision just under a season since making the signings in the hopes of maintaining the top flight status.
Other names out of the exit door include goalkeeper Ernest Sowah and the winger Ollenu Ashitey. The reason for the decision is believed to be what is viewed as ‘poor performances.’
“Ghanaian side Great Olympics have sacked four top stars less than a year after signing them,” reported Ghanasoccernet.
“Striker Emmanuel Clottey, winger Ollenu Ashitey, defender Godfred Saka and goalkeeper Ernest Sowah are among the experienced players told to look elsewhere.”
Meanwhile, the Ghana Premier League got suspended with the Wonder Club sitting in 10th place with eight points off the top position and 14 above the bottom
