Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has jokingly trolled Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes during a challenge.
Ronaldo had challenged fans to take part in a 'core crusher' workout, showing that he could do an impressive 142 reps in just 45 seconds.
Fernandes managed 117 reps in his attempt, writing: “#NikeLivingRoomCup-Week One. 117 Abs in 45 seconds. Not bad for a Sunday…”
However, Ronaldo replied on his own Instagram story saying: “train your arms instead!”
Fernandes teammate Diogo Dalot also took on the challenge, in which you lie on your back with your legs in the air and repeatedly touch your toes but fell short of the five-time Ballon d'Or winner's total, crunching 105 reps within the time limit.
Ronaldo's total was however beaten by South African runner Caster Semenya who pulled off 176 reps.
The Nike Living Room Cup challenge is an initiative being promoted by sports stars in order to encourage exercising indoors during the coronavirus crisis.
The pandemic has halted Fernandes rise at Old Trafford where he had taken the Premier League by storm with some proper display that refuelled his club’s ambitions of making it to the top four.
