Real Madrid star Eden Hazard is struggling to ensure he maintains a strict diet programme during the current lockdown period.
Lack of action due to the pandemic means player are forced to go about their training sessions from home, which can be sticky at times.
Speaking on Monday, the former Chelsea star, who in the past has been teased because of weight gain, said he is, in particular, trying to avoid buns to ensure he doest add a few pounds.
"It's complicated for me. I'm trying not to eat a lot," he told RTBF:
"I'm trying not to go into the pantry to eat a lot of buns, but it's not easy,"
The Belgium captain is currently recovering from an ankle injury he picked that forced him to undergo surgery, and he revealed he is getting better.
"I'm working with the physio online. He can't come here anymore because he fell ill and has to stay at home,"
"We started ten days ago, but he sends me videos from home. I'm working to strengthen my ankle and I'm doing what I can from home,"
Hazard has not had the best of starts to life in the Spanish club due to the injuries, even though he has shown flashes of his former self.
