Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic flew back to Italy to join his teammates amid the fears currently being experienced by coronavirus.
His move comes a day after reports emerged that Alexis Sanchez was on his way back to Milan from Chile as Italy ponders on way to have Serie A back in action.
Pjanic had returned to Bosnia-Herzegovina when the league was suspended just like his team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo, Douglas Costa, Alex Sandro and Danilo.
Announcing his move on Instagram, the midfielder said:” Back To The Business".
Serie A was suspended indefinitely in March due to the coronavirus pandemic and the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) has already stated that the campaign will not resume until the health and safety of all concerned can be guaranteed.
There has been some hope that football might return soon in Italy who has been one of the most hardly hit by the virus with the country’s minister for sport Vincenzo Spadafora having the hope that they return on May 4; the country’s current restrictions on movement and outdoor activities is set to end on May 3.
Before the break, Juventus were leading the Serie A table with just a point above second-placed Lazio.
