The Durban-born player has confirmed he will be moving up from the reserve team to play Primeira Liga football.

Sphephelo Sithole revealed the news to local outlet Far Post, and it happens three years since the 21-year-old central midfielder left the KZN Academy to join Sporting Lisbon.

 

Sithole later moved on to Victoria U23s before landing at his current club Belenenses. The club currently linger on 13th position and three places above the bottom.

Sithole's midfield competition will be the likes of Show (21), André Santos (31), Tiago Esgai (24), Nuno Pina Nunes (21) and Danny Henriques (22).

Two other Mzansi players in the division are Thibang Phete (same club) and Luther Singh at
Moreirense FC.
