The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has said that the country's top leagues and tournaments will resume in mid-June amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Unlike other African countries who have heeded CAF's directive on deciding their season ends by May 5, Morocco has decided to wait and resume their campaign in June.
The federation added that top division teams will be allowed to resume training at the end of May before the action returns a month later.
La Botola, Morocco's top league, was halted in mid-March after 20 rounds following positive COVID-19 cases in the country.
Wydad Casablanca was heading the league table, a point ahead of FUS Rabat at the time of the cancellation.
