Egyptian side Al Ahly has expressed interest in signing TP Mazembe forward Jackson Muleka, the player's agent has confirmed.
There have been reports linking the Congolese starlet to a big-money move to Egyptian giants. It is understood that the player and the club turned down the offer as they are targeting a European deal.
“Yes, Al Ahly are the only club to show true and solid interest in signing Muleka. They made contact with the owner of the club, Moise Katumbe,” Muleka’s agent told African Football HQ.
“I am not sure if the President [Moise Katumbe] will sell Jackson Muleka to Al Ahly since he doesn’t do business with his competitors.”
Muleka's form this season has attracted a number of suitors and pundits are already predicting that this could his last season at the club.
The 20-year-old burst onto the scene two years ago aged 18 and has gone ahead to be one of the most important dependable players at the Kinshasa club.
