Kilmarnock defender Alex Bruce says Spurs youngster Jack Clarke should move to Celtic

Former Kilmarnock defender Alex Bruce wants Tottenham Hotspur youngster Jack Clarke to sign with Scottish Premiership side Celtic if the opportunity arises.

Bruce told Football Insider in an interview that he believes in Clarke's abilities and that he should be getting more game time to progress in his development.

Celtic had made an offer to sign the 19-year-old on a temporary basis at the start of 2020 but he opted to sign with Queens Park Rangers until the end of the 2019/20 season.

Bruce (son of Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce) told Football Insider: “I would recommend anyone to go to a club like Celtic to get game time.

“It’s a great club, any young lad who’s got the opportunity to go and play anywhere, I would recommend just to go and do it and if you can join a club like Celtic in the process then fantastic.

“I’m all for it.”

Clarke is yet to feature for the Spurs senior team since making his move from Leeds United.
