Everton still monitoring Benfica's Rafa Silva ahead of a possible move

Arsenal have reportedly registered their interest in Benfica midfielder Rafa Silva ahead of the summer transfer window.

According to Portuguese publication Correio da Manhã, Everton are also monitoring Silva as a possible transfer target.

However, the report claims Silva's poor form this season may call for concern which has resulting in the Toffees taking a step back.

The 27-year-old has scored nine goals and provided six assists from 25 appearances this season which is less than the 2018/19 campaign where he had scored 21 goals.

Silva has a release clause of €80m and Benfica might not be keen to sell him this summer but it is yet to be seen.

He, on the other hand, is interested in making the switch to the Premier League after being heavily linked for several years.
