Vipers SC on Wednesday was declared the Ugandan Premier League champions after the 2019/20 season was cancelled.
FUFA revoked the force majeure rule that states if the league is unable to have a natural conclusion with 75% of matches played, then the standings will be declared final.
At the time the league was suspended, Vipers was leading the UPL table with 54 points from 25 matches, 4 points ahead of KCCA.
At the same time, Maroons, Proline and Tooro United are all relegated to the second division, the FUFA Big League.
Meanwhile, Malaba Youth Development Association (MYDA) FC and UPDF FC have been promoted to Premier League since they led the topped the two groups of the second tier by the end of the first round.
Kiboga Young, Kitara, Ndejje University and Kataka will take part in a promotional playoff battle before kickoff of the 2020-21 season to determine the third team to move into the top flight.
All other football leagues (Women Elite League), Regional, Juniors, Regional and district leagues have been all cancelled.
However, there is a possibility to complete the Uganda Cup after closely monitoring the situation.
