Ramadan Sobhi's future at Egyptian side Al Ahly is uncertain at the moment, his agent has said.
The 23-year-old is currently on loan at the Cairo giants from English side Huddersfield Town as he rediscovers his form.
He has scored five goals while providing one assist in nine games for Al Ahly across all competitions in season 2019/2020, and he was widely expected to go back to England in summer.
But Nader Shawky, his agent, says that they have not decided what next for the winger as the current football situation is vague.
“We haven’t taken any decision related to Sobhi. Everything is halted right now and nobody knows the fate of the league whether this season or the next one,” Shawky told a local radio station.
“The talk about Ramadan’s stay or departure from Al Ahly are just rumors. The situation is critical for the current season and nobody can affirm anything because things are not clear.”
“If a club came to speak with me to sign Sobhi I won’t listen to them. No club would manage to grant me full details on their respective league.”
