It wasn't all roses when Jose Mourinho went back to Old Trafford with his new side Tottenham Hotspur, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reveals that Mourinho ironically complained about the away changing rooms at Old Trafford.
Speaking to club fanzine United We Stand, the Norwegian reveals he enjoyed meeting with the Spurs boss, but could not help but have a cheeky dig at his predecessor.
He said: “There was a positive atmosphere between us – it was good to have him back.”
“We had a chat before the game.”
“I’d not really met him before, only briefly when he was at Chelsea and they played Cardiff.”
“We had a nice chat. He was complaining about the away dressing room, the one that he’d changed!”
The Norwegian has slowly but steadily overseen a squad overhaul since taking charge in 2018.
United was on an unbeaten run of 11 games in all competitions, prior to the action being halted due to the coronavirus pandemic.
