It has been reported that Ighalo is out of his way from Manchester United, and this might be true as Sky Sports reports that the Red Devils are yet to make an official bid for the striker.
Shanghai Shenhua let the Nigerian striker join Ole Gunner Solskjaer's side in January due to an injury on Marcus Rashford and according to the report, the Chinese side will only agree to a permanent deal or an extension to his loan that includes an obligation to buy.
The 30-year-old would likely cost €20 million-plus.
The striker had scored four times in eight appearances for the Red Devils before the suspension of the league.
As things stand now, Ighalo's contract with United ends on May 31st and Shenhua expects him to be in China as they look to resume their domestic league in June or the beginning of July.
