A lot is being reported on Odion Ighalo's future and now the player's agent has come out to clarify on reports.
Ighalo arrived in Manchester United on loan from the Chinese side, Shanghai Shenhua, and he was to go back after six months unless the Red Devils decide to sign him.
Speaking to Foot Mercato, the striker's agent Ladi Salami said: "The Super Eagle feels very good in Manchester with whom he is very close to a salary agreement. Negotiations with the Chinese are ongoing and are going well."
The Premier League has been suspended since March due to the coronavirus outbreak, but along with the Chinese Super League, England's top-flight is scheduled to resume next month.
The 30-year-old striker had scored four times in eight appearances for Ole Gunner Solskjaer's side.
