Scottish Premiership side Rangers have been tipped to make a move for former England U21 international Saido Berahino according to several reports.
The Daily Record reported that Berahino who is currently playing for Zulte Waregem has been heavily linked with a switch to Rangers as boss Steven Gerrard is looking to bolster his attacking department.
Berahino scored eight goals and provided three assists from 22 appearances across all competitions this season as he looked to bounce back from a disappointing spell at Stoke City (five goals from 56 appearances).
However, the 26-year-old may have to prove that he can be trusted to play under Gerrard after he has been known to arrive late for training and his run-in with the law for drunk driving.
Gerrard is still awaiting news of Florian Kamberi's future while he continues to be on the market for another striker who will help ease off the pressure currently on Alfredo Morelos and taking into consideration that Jermain Defoe is getting older.
