United Arab Emirates side Al Ain have no submitted a bid to sign Al Ahly defender Ali Maaloul, Tunisian media reports.
Sports newspaper Al Chourok reports that the Emirati side has officially made the approach to sign the Tunisia international in the summer transfer window.
The report also added that Al Ahly have already rejected an offer for Maaloul from Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal.
The left-back has been in rich form for the Cairo giants this season helping them remain unbeaten in the Egyptian Premier League as well as qualify for the CAF Champions League semi-finals.
Maaloul joined Al Ahly in 2016 from CS Sfaxien and has played an instrumental role in helping the Red Devils clinch six major trophies including three Egyptian Premier League titles, an Egypt Cup and two Egyptian Super Cup trophies.
The 30-year-old has made 20 appearances this season scoring five times and registering seven assists, an impressive return for the left-back.
