Former Cameroon coach Hugo Broos has said that Fabrice Ondoa has failed to impress at Belgian side KV Oostende because of his poor attitude.
The Belgian tactician, currently at Oostende, said that Ondoa has failed to work hard and earn a place in the club's first XV.
“Fabrice Ondoa did not work hard enough during training because he was sure to play. He was not professional enough. Perhaps he thought that since I was the manager, he was guaranteed the number one shirt," he told Kick442.
Hugo Broos recruited the Cameroonian shot-stopper at Oostende after the pair won the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea.
However, the gaffer says Ondoa knows what to do to regain his position in Oostende's posts.
"He knows what to do and I'm sure he will play next season. I will chat with him to give him confidence. He's a very good goalkeeper."
Ondoa is still under contract at KV Ostende until 2021.
