Yanga SC are expected to host fellow Premier League side KMC at Uhuru Stadium on Sunday. Yanga restart their league campaign with a visit to Mwadui FC on June 13 at Kambarage Stadium in Shinyanga.
On Saturday, Azam FC will take on Transit FC as they prepare to resume their league campaign against Mbao FC on June 14 at Azam Stadium.
Simba was perched on the top of the league with 71 points, 17 ahead of Azam FC in second place. Yanga are third with 51 points and are theoretically out of the league contention with ten matches to go.
Football activities in Tanzania are set to resume after a three-month break due to the coronavirus pandemic. The country's president John Magufuli said that he was allowing sports activities to resume as they can help in containing the spread of the virus.
