Tanzania Premier League side Azam FC has confirmed the departure of Zimbabwean striker Donald Ngoma after his contract lapsed on June 14.
In a statement, Azam said that the separation was mutual and wished the former Zimbabwe international well in his future prospects.
"Both parties agreed not to extend the contract after the current one ran out. We appreciate the contributions he made to the club which helped us win two titles last season," the statement read.
Ngoma was Azam's best striker last season with 14 goals in all competitions. In total, the Zimbabwean made 42 appearances over two season scoring 20 goals with four assists.
"We wish him all the best in his future engagement. Thank you Donald Ngoma," the statement concluded.
