Tunisia international Iheb Mbarki is stalling on a new contract at Esperance, Tunisian media reports.
The 28-year-old is out of contract at the month and has rejected contract renewals presented to him by the Tunisian giants.
He has been linked with a move to the Egyptian side Pyramids FC but it remains to be seen whether he will move to Egypt as the club has announced the capture of Al Ahly defender Ahmed Fathy.
Mbarki joined Esperance in 2013 from Ligue 1 side Evian and has won a number of trophies include four league titles, Tunisia Cup, a Super Cup and two CAF Champions League titles. He has also won Arab Championship Cup.
