Laliga side Valencia want to sign Chelsea keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga as a replacement for current keeper Jasper Cillessen on a two-year loan deal.
Cillessen is expected to depart the club at the end of the season and according to Spanish publication Marca Valencia wants the Spaniard on a two-year loan deal with an option to buy him permanently should he impress during his first two seasons.
There are claims that the approach from Valencia could be part of a much larger swap deal, which would see Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana join Chelsea and Cillessen replace Onana at Ajax.
Cameroonian Onana is attracting interest from some of the biggest clubs in Europe with the fans of Ajax last week taking to the team’s training ground to plead with the keeper to stay for another season.
There have been reports that Onana might return to Barcelona with French giants Paris Saint-Germain also interested in acquiring the 24-year-old stopper.
Kepa joined Chelsea for a world-record fee of £72million for a goalkeeper from Athletic Bilbao after he replaced Thibaut Courtois but his form has dipped with manager Frank Lampard dropping him in some games.
It has been reported that the goalkeeper now wishes to leave London in search of more minutes as he fights for his place in the Spain national team ahead of the Euros next summer.
