One of the eagerly awaited fixtures of the LaLiga return is finally upon us, as Diego Simeone's Atlético travel to Camp Nou on Tuesday night to face Barcelona.
The Catalans dropped points last time out against Celta Vigo, allowing Real Madrid to assume top spot and open a two-point gap as the race for the title gathers pace.
Quique Setién's charges will, however, have the chance to climb back to the top if only they can pick maximum points against the Madrid club, who are on an excellent run.
The side have moved to third in the table on 58 points, 11 behind Barça after stringing together four wins out of five since the return of competition.
Ahead of the fixture, Setién has named a 23-man squad, including Sergio Busquets, who sat out the Celta match following a suspension.
Sergi Roberto is also back in the squad after recovering from injury and could have a role to play.
The squad trained together on Monday, with Juventus-bound Arthur among the players who took part in the open session.
The midfielder missed Sunday's training with permission from the club as he finalizes his move to Turin with Miralem Pjanić moving in the opposite direction.
Barcelona's traveling team
