The Premier League has recorded one more Covid-19 positive case in the latest tests.
This is the second round of tests since Premier League action resumed on June 17, with a similar result in the last analysis.
The Premier League said in a statement;
"The Premier League can today confirm that between Monday, June 22 and Sunday, June 28, 2,250 players and club staff were tested for COVID-19. Of these, one person has tested positive.
"Players or club staff who have tested positive will self-isolate for a period of seven days.
"The Premier League is providing this aggregated information for the purposes of competition integrity and transparency. No specific details as to clubs or individuals will be provided by the League and results will be made public after each round of testing."
The latest case brings the total of positive cases to 19 from a total of 14,307 tests.
