Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard has denied reports that the Blues have offered a contract to Manchester United youngster Angel Gomes.
Gomes is set to become a free agent on Tuesday after failing to agree on a new contract extension at United. Earlier in the month, reports suggested that Chelsea were ready to offer the midfielder a lucrative deal at the Bridge. However, Lampard has denied reports that his side has made an offer for the 19-year-old.
"I can elaborate to the point that it's never been mentioned on my end. That's it," said Lampard.
The west London side has been linked with West Ham United ace Declan Rice and Lampard has also refused to confirm if the club will make a move for the midfielder.
"Declan Rice is a good player. I've known him for a long time, he was in Chelsea's academy but there's no talk," he said.
"I'll keep saying it about every player that we'll be asked about until this season is finished - there's nothing to say," he added.
