Ahead of Barcelona versus Atletico Madrid clash tonight, Clement Lenglet has spoken about Antoine Griezmann, saying that he knows the forward can do better at Barcelona, but feels he’s had a decent first season at the Camp Nou.
Griezmann has gone seven games without finding the back of the net for Barcelona, but Lenglet insists he’s still working hard.
“Antoine is well integrated in the dressing room, really there’s no problem,” he said.
“On the pitch he knows that he can do better. We shouldn’t forget his stats, he’s got 14 goals and various assists, for a first season that’s not bad.
“We are very demanding of him, but I see him working hard in training, he can only improve. I’m sure that everything will go well for Antoine at Barca,” Lenglet told Le Parisien.
Griezmann will come up against former side Atletico Madrid tonight at the Camp Nou and will be hoping to start after only being a late substitute last time out against Celta Vigo.
