Serie A side AS Roma has confirmed that Henrikh Mkhitaryan will stay at the club until the end of the current season, with a preliminary agreement for the 2020-21 campaign reached upon too.
“I'm very pleased,” Mkhitaryan said.
“I'm happy to extend my stay here, because I still have things that I haven’t achieved yet that I want to achieve.
“I’m looking forward to it.”
Mkhitaryan signed for Roma on loan from Arsenal until the end of the season and he has been impressive so far in Italy.
In 19 appearances for Roma, the former Manchester United ace has netted six goals, something that has impressed Roma boss Paulo Fonseca.
