Manchester United have revealed the three players nominated for the Player of the Month award for June following the restart of the 2019/20 season.
The Reds seem to have picked from where they left before the coronavirus pandemic struck in March, strengthening their claim for a top-four finish in the Premier League and booking a slot in the FA Cup semi-finals.
During the period, the Reds picked two league wins; against Sheffield United and Brighton and dispatched Norwich in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
They also picked a valuable point away against Tottenham Hotspur in their first match of the restart.
All players have played their part during the good run, but Bruno Fernandes, Anthony Martial, and Nemanja Matic have particularly stood out and they will battel for the award.
🇵🇹 Bruno Fernandes
The Portugues has been the club's best player since his arrival in January. He scored the penalty against Tottenham and played a key role against Norwich and Sheffield United. His best performance of the month though was against Brighton as he scored a magnificent double as United won 3-0.
🇫🇷 Anthony Martial
The Frenchman is enjoying life at Old Trafford once again and after a decent showing against Spurs during the first match, he hit his first hat-trick against Sheffield, United's first since Robin van Persie's in 2013.
🇷🇸 Nemanja Matic
Matic seems to be finding his form once again at United's midfield base. He has provided the perfect cover for Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba to thrive going forward, and he looks the part in a new midfield that has sparked since the restart.
