Uganda international Savio Kabugo has mutually terminated his contract with Ethiopian side Sebeta Kenema FC.
Kabugo joined Sebeta Kenema in July last year from Congolese side AS Vita on a two-year contract but has been in Uganda since Match this year after the Ethiopian league was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.
"We have come to a mutual agreement to terminate our contractual relationship. I would like to thank the club president, coach and his technical team, my teammates and our beloved fans. It has been a great experience winning and loosing together and I wish you the very best Sebeta Kenema Football Club," he wrote.
Kabugo, in his farewell message, did not reveal the reason for the termination of the contract.
In his short stay in Ethiopia, Kabugo had helped Sebeta Kenema finish second behind St Georges in the Addis Ababa Inter-City Cup.
