Absa Premiership club Bloemtontein Celtic has announced the sudden exit of head coach Lehlohonolo Seema.
The financially constrained club known as Siwelele went out to social media and publishing the shocking news this morning.
"Recent reports in local media indicated that the coach allegedly got paid only R1 000 in April, due to the disruptions caused by the COVID-19 which have led to some Absa Premiership and GladAfrica Championship clubs not paying full salaries," reported the outlet.
"However, the reports of R1000 salary were refuted by the coach, Celtic also dismissed claims of unpaid salaries at the club.
Meanwhile, another influential publication believes Seema is likely heading to Port Elizabeth to become Chippa United's next coach.
