Congolese international Jody Lukoki has officially joined Turkish SuperLig side Yeni Malatyaspor after months of talks.
Lukoki has been a free agent since terminating his contract with Bulgarian side Ludogorets in April and has been rumoured to be on his way to Turkey before the coronavirus pandemic put hold any transfer talks.
The Turkish side on Monday announced that the 27-year-old winger has finally agreed terms and underwent medical test before joining the club.
The former Dutch youth player was born in Congo but immigrated to the Netherlands. He joined the local club VVA/Spartaan at the age of ten. He later moved to Ajax in 2011 before being loaned out to SC Sambur three seasons later.
He then signed for another Dutch side PEC Zwolle in 2014 before being snapped up by Ludogorets after a year.
