Spanish and world giants Real Madrid have revealed that the club's Spanish-Dominican striker, Diaz, is a COVID-19 patient.
The La Liga champions broke the news via social media this afternoon with a formal statement that assures that the 26-year old has already entered self-isolation.
"After the COVID-19 tests carried out yesterday on our first team footballers by the Real Madrid Medical Services, our player Mariano, tested positive. The player is in perfect health and is complying with the protocol of isolation at home," concluded the short report.
